Christmas cake that can be made the day before Christmas



Materials needed

  • Strawberry Jam 75g
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 50g chopped candied peel
  • 100g of chopped cherries
  • 50g chopped cashews
  • 50g of chopped puhul dosi
  • 50g of chopped currants
  • Raisins 50g
  • Raisins 50g
  • Ginger Dosi 50g
  • 50g of butter
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 75g of sugar
  • Waves 50g
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon of almond essence
  • 1/2 teaspoon of rose essence
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla



Put all the chopped fruit and half of the cherries, half of the jam, orange juice and half of the brandy in a bowl and mix well.  Keep the ripe fruit covered for two hours.

Beat sugar, butter and eggs well.

Add vanilla, rose essence, almond essence, rulang and beaten eggs to the fruit left for two hours and mix well.

Put 4 layers of oil papers on a tray.  Bake at 160 Celsius for about an hour.

Break the baked cake into pieces.  Add the remaining cherries, the remaining brandy, and the remaining jam and mix well.

Put it on a buttered tray and press it, then turn the other side and cut into pieces.
