Materials needed



  • 100 grams of racin 
  • 100 grams of sultanas 
  • 100 grams of breadcrumbs 
  • Currants 100 grams 
  • 80 grams of cherries 
  • 5 grams of almonds 
  • Cashews 50 grams 
  • 1 teaspoon of grated orange peel 
  • 50 grams of candied peel 
  • 100 grams of brown sugar 
  • 40 grams of breadcrumbs 
  • Spices 1/2 tsp 
  • 100 grams of butter 
  • 2 eggs 
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder 
  • 1/2 cup brandy


How to make 


Put all the cut fruits in brandy and leave for 8 hours. 

Put bread flour, baking powder and spices in a separate bowl and mix. 

Add the fruit soaked in brandy to this, add eggs and butter and mix well. 

Add orange peel, sugar, breadcrumbs and nuts to this and stir. 

Put an oil paper in a buttered pudding mold and put the pudding and cover it with foil. 

Put about 1/2 of water in a pot, put the pudding ball and steam it for 3-4 hours on low heat.  Add hot water again until the water settles.
